  1. My grandfather worked for Beacon for forty years as a truck driver. He is 90 years old; he spent much of his career on the road in the southeast.

  2. My Dad was a loom fixer for Beacon. He worked there for 36 years until he died in 1969. I also worked there for a few months in 1970.

    1. Thank you for letting us know that. We've talked to a lot of people who worked their entire careers at Beacon. And fixers had a special set of skills. Would love to hear more about your father's experience and why you decided not to stay.
